Lakes International Comic Art Festival – 11th to 13th October 2019
Featuring comic book art from around the world, this October in the Lake District sees the return of the ever popular festival. Kendal welcomes guest speakers, creators and writers, along with a number of comic book related exhibitions.
Wasdale Head Show – 12th October 2019
Although it may be one of the lesser-known agricultural shows in the Lake District, for over 100 years the “Shepherds Meet” has taken place at Wasdale Head.
Grand Day Out in Cumbria – 20th to 21st October 2019
The beautiful valley of Langdale is home to this annual charity fundraising event in honour of the Mountain Rescue Association. As well as a challenging fell race, guided walks, dog trials and orienteering courses there will be live music and much more.
